THE SINICROPI PERSPECTIVE

Your ambition deserves
a health strategy.

For the life you have built. And everything you still want to do.

01 / THE MOST IMPORTANT CAPITAL

What is success
worth if you cannot
fully live it?

Your ability to think clearly, move freely, recover well and remain engaged underpins everything else.

You may have thoughtful plans for your investments, your business and your family’s future. Health deserves an equally considered approach: a clear view of your priorities, an informed understanding of your options and a plan that evolves with your life.

Sinicropi Longevity Advisory brings those conversations together, placing the person behind the balance sheet at the center of the strategy.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLE

Health is not simply another asset.
It is the capacity to participate in everything you value.

THE ECONOMIC CONTEXT

Poor health carries
a cost beyond the medical bill.

Lost time. Reduced capacity. Interrupted leadership. Population research shows why health belongs in a serious conversation about continuity.

These population-level estimates provide context, not a prediction of your revenue, personal risk or savings from this advisory. They overlap, cover different years and must not be added together.

Sources & perspective

When much depends
on one person.

For a founder or family principal, health also belongs in the conversation about leadership continuity. Research on CEO hospitalization has found effects on firm profitability and investment. The relevance is a reason to plan thoughtfully, rather than a forecast of what any one person will lose.

  • Founder & executive advisoryExplore individually tailored engagements for key leaders, accounting for demanding schedules, travel, cognitive performance and the responsibilities they carry.
  • A shared plan for coordinationDefine who handles logistics, how the advisory connects with existing care and which decisions require the individual’s involvement or consent.
  • Review with continuity in mindAgree how priorities and next steps will be reviewed over time, keeping personal health goals connected to the individual’s ability to lead and remain engaged.
WHAT WE DEFINE TOGETHER

Who is included, the individual advisory scope, coordination responsibilities, consent boundaries and the rhythm of review.

Discuss a family office or company engagement

The scope, fees and review frequency are confirmed before enrollment. Tests, treatments and specialist services are included only when expressly agreed and clinically appropriate. Organizational sponsorship does not grant access to an individual’s health information. Any sharing must follow that person’s authorization and applicable privacy requirements. Advisory guidance complements care from the clinicians responsible for diagnosis and treatment.

01 / DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM · 2002

Structure and follow-through can matter.

In a randomized trial of 3,234 adults with elevated glucose, an intensive lifestyle program reduced diabetes incidence compared with placebo plus standard advice.

Estimated diabetes incidence within three years

Estimated cumulative incidence (%) · zero-based scale, 0–35%

Placebo + standard advice28.9%
Metformin + standard advice21.7%
Intensive lifestyle program14.4%

Selected high-risk adults, not a general healthy population. The program targeted at least 7% weight loss and 150 minutes of weekly activity with individualized support. Mean follow-up was 2.8 years; the trial ended early. Musculoskeletal symptoms were more frequent with lifestyle intervention; gastrointestinal symptoms with metformin.

02 / SPRINT · FINAL REPORT, 2021

Good decisions weigh benefits and harms.

Among 9,361 adults aged 50 or older with elevated blood pressure and cardiovascular risk, more intensive treatment reduced cardiovascular events but increased some serious adverse events.

Events per 100 person-years · both scales start at zero and end at 3 · not cumulative percentages

Primary cardiovascular composite

Standard systolic target <140 mmHg2.40
Intensive target <120 mmHg1.77

Serious acute kidney injury or renal failure

Standard target0.8
Intensive target1.3

Median follow-up 3.33 years; intervention ended early. People with diabetes or prior stroke were excluded. The cardiovascular outcome combined heart attack, other acute coronary syndrome, stroke, acute heart failure and cardiovascular death. Hypotension and electrolyte abnormalities also increased; the overall serious-adverse-event difference was not statistically significant. Trial targets are not individualized treatment advice.

THE STANDARD WE HOLD

Good intentions are not outcome evidence.

A large randomized workplace-wellness trial found improvements in some reported behaviors, but no significant clinical, spending or employment benefits after 18 months. It did not test this advisory. We do not promise guaranteed health outcomes or financial returns.

The economics of continuity

planning calculators

Explore how time away, reduced capacity and continuity arrangements could affect personal income or an executive-dependent organization. Change the assumptions to frame a more informed conversation.

Original Sinicropi scenario design, informed by published work-capacity research. These financial calculations are illustrative and have not been clinically or actuarially validated.

Choose simple presets to explore a scenario. Menu choices are illustrative assumptions, not recommended or scientifically validated values; each selection uses the exact amount shown.

Choose your planning perspective

Personal disability income calculator

Use a hypothetical sickness or disability-related interruption, not an assumed likelihood. Enter your annual income, then choose scenario assumptions from the menus or load an illustrative example.

Before personal tax. Exclude passive returns, net worth and gross business revenue.
Choose scheduled workdays, excluding nonworking days and vacation.
Scheduled days entirely away. Absent + reduced-capacity days must not exceed annual workdays.
Separate from fully absent days; do not count a day twice.
100% means full capacity; 0% means no capacity. Disabled when reduced days are zero.
Only income covering the modeled loss for this episode, counted once.
Extra episode-related spending only; exclude normal living costs.

Methodology, assumptions & research foundations

An original Sinicropi planning framework. This scenario design is inspired by published absenteeism and presenteeism concepts in the Work Productivity and Activity Impairment (WPAI) and WHO Health and Work Performance Questionnaire (HPQ) literature. Those instruments have published validation evidence in specific settings. These original financial scenarios are not those questionnaires, do not generate their scores and have not been clinically or actuarially validated. No questionnaire wording is reproduced.

Time basis. Use one episode within a 12-month period. Equivalent workdays lost = fully absent days + reduced-capacity days × (1 − remaining capacity / 100). Absent and reduced-capacity days are distinct and together cannot exceed annual scheduled workdays. The default of 240 annual workdays and all menu options are scenario choices, not population benchmarks or scientifically validated presets. Each menu amount is an exact assumption, not a range; compare nearby choices if your situation falls between them.

Personal income. Income exposure before offsets = annual work-dependent earned income ÷ annual workdays × equivalent workdays lost. Income exposure after offsets = the greater of zero or exposure before offsets minus income preserved/replaced for that loss. Exposure + added expenses = exposure after offsets + additional net expenses. Offsets are capped at income exposure; any excess is not applied to expenses. Continued salary, benefit waiting periods, caps, eligibility, taxes and duration can materially change actual receipts. Confirm these separately; this is not an insurance-benefit calculation.

Business and family office. Uncovered equivalent days = equivalent workdays lost × (1 − restored-output percentage / 100). Capacity-value exposure = attributable annual economic value ÷ annual workdays × uncovered equivalent days. Annual value may use compensation as a capacity proxy or an internally estimated attributable value-added basis. For a profit-oriented estimate, use contribution value after variable costs, not gross revenue. Compensation is not revenue; neither basis establishes causality. Continuity cash spending is reported separately to avoid an unsupported total or double counting. If a defensible monetary value is unavailable, choose “Skip monetary estimate” and review uncovered days instead.

Limits. Linear time-to-value conversion is an explicit simplifying assumption. Work made up later, dependencies, timing, salaried pay and decision bottlenecks may produce different real-world effects. No estimates of disability probability, future health, enterprise valuation, investment returns or program ROI are produced. No claim is made that advisory services will prevent the scenario or reduce its cost. Dollar amounts are USD, rounded for display only.

Published foundations: Reilly et al. (1993), WPAI validation; Zhang et al. (2010), WPAI-GH measurement and scoring; Kessler et al. (2003), WHO-HPQ; CDC (2016), time-based absenteeism costing. Research supports the measurement concepts, not the predictive accuracy of this calculator.

06 / AN ENGAGEMENT THAT BEGINS WITH UNDERSTANDING

First, a conversation.

A FEW IMPORTANT DISTINCTIONS

Considered questions.
Clear expectations.

Does the advisory replace my existing physicians?

The advisory is intended to bring perspective, organization and coordination to your health strategy. It does not automatically replace your existing physicians. Any clinical care relationship and responsibilities must be agreed separately with the appropriate licensed providers.

Is every test or intervention part of the program?

No. The five pillars organize the conversation; they are not a universal prescription. Testing and treatment decisions require clinical judgment, evidence, individual suitability and an agreed scope of care.

How are engagements and fees determined?

Scope, duration, access, review cadence and fees are discussed individually before enrollment. Separate testing, clinical, travel or specialist costs, if applicable, should be clarified as part of that discussion.

Can a family office representative make the introduction?

Yes. A principal, family office representative or authorized assistant can request an introductory conversation. Please share only business contact information and broad interests through this form; health records and sensitive personal information should not be included.
